An immediate opportunity exists for someone who understands B2B buying cycles in the large enterprise, and has high expectations of themselves as well as the team around them. You will be directly contributing to our corporate strategic goals and marketing initiatives.

 

The Senior Product Marketing Manager will help drive market awareness and adoption of our leading network automation platform. In this key role, you will work with Sales, Product Management, Marketing Communications, and Demand Generation to drive differentiated positioning, messaging and associated programs that generate demand for our market leading technology.

As a Senior Product Marketing Manager, you will play a critical role in the company’s success, by influencing go-to-market strategies and crafting compelling messaging for customers and prospects. You will be responsible for thinking about the bigger picture, how NetBrain fits in the market, and how NetBrain’s disruptive network automation technology brings value to its customers. At the same time, this role is very hands-on - so you will be heavily involved with crafting compelling stories and deliverables such as white papers, presentations, and slide decks. In this role, you will be responsible for driving and reinforcing the value proposition of NetBrain to drive marketing campaigns, field enablement, partner support, and product launches. You will work across the organization to ensure success of our offerings to IT customers.

Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy and Planning

  • Develop go-to-market plans and work cross-functionally on execution
  • Plan the launch of new products and releases and manage the cross functional implementation of the plan
  • Conduct market research to thoroughly understand the needs of customers and prospects and to assess market opportunities

 

Messaging and Content

  • Be a thought leader, product evangelist and spokesperson, communicating with both internal and external stakeholders (partners, press, analysts) through social media, webcasts, briefings and product demonstrations.
  • Developing new and maintaining existing product collateral such as product briefs, customer presentations, and sales tools
  • Work across the marketing team to provide content for website, collateral, press releases, analyst and press briefings, tradeshows, sales and channel training, online marketing, etc.

 
Sales Enablement

  • Produce training material to educate sales teams and partners on product related value propositions
  • Deliver training and messaging for the Sales organization to enable internal teams and external partners
  • Create sales tools such as sales kits, ROI analysis, qualification and messaging guides to enhance sales effectiveness
  • Assist the Sales organization by providing expertise in specific Sales situations

Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience in marketing enterprise software
  • Proven success in product marketing or sales engineering within enterprise software is essential.
  • Enterprise networking/customer-side experience a major plus
  • Able to communicate persuasively and precisely - excellent written and oral communication/presentation skills
  • Strategic thinker – having a clear vision of where you are and where you want to be – and knowing how to get there
  • Self-starter who truly enjoys working in a fast-paced software start-up environment with a drive to take on new challenges
  • Ability to work independently and proactively in a dynamic and aggressive high growth environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a technical discipline
  • This position will require 20% or less travel to industry conferences, customer visits, sales meetings, and other places both U.S. and international
